Application Process
The majority of Beaird Family Foundation grants support qualified nonprofit organizations that provide services in the Shreveport and Bossier City region of Louisiana.
Nonprofit organizations submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) form as the first step in determining eligibility to advance to the second step of a full grant application to the Beaird Family Foundation.
The LOI form and grant application are processed and submitted through the Beaird Family Foundation online grant management system.
If your organization is a first-time applicant, please view the Letter of Intent Guidance (20 minutes) prior to submitting the LOI form.

Grant Follow Up Reports
Organizations that received a Beaird Family Foundation grant in the past must complete a follow-up report before submitting a Letter of Intent in future grant cycles. The report is due one year after the grant is awarded. The report may be accessed through our online grant management system. The follow-up report provides an opportunity for organizations to share data, successes, improvements, and future plans.
